Crane Operator Training

The purpose of this course is to provide you with an overall foundation of knowledge pertaining to Cranes and Crane Safety.

Upon completion of this course, Participants will be able to identify types of cranes and their basic components,  recognize hazards associated with cranes and understand safe operating practices based on guidelines established by OSHA.

This course is designed to assist trainers conducting OSHA 10-hour Construction Industry outreach training for operators.  Since operators are the target audience, this course emphasizes hazard identification, avoidance, and control.
